Jessica Milligan

Attorney Jessica Milligan started her career in the criminal justice field over 20 years ago as a clerk for the United States Attorney's Office in the districts of Colorado and New Mexico where she assisted in prosecuting federal crimes occurring on Indian Country or federal jurisdictions. She obtained her undergraduate degree from New Mexico State University and her law degree at St. Mary's University School of Law. After graduating from law school she worked as an Associate Attorney handling construction, employment, and insurance cases for plaintiffs in the San Antonio area. She then started developing her expertise in Texas oriented criminal law in 2006, when she started working as an Assistant District Attorney at the Harris County District Attorney's Office in Houston, Texas. As a prosecutor, she handled violent felonies, aggravated assaults, aggravated robberies, financial crimes, credit card abuse, drug possession cases, and various misdemeanors like DWI, family assault, evading arrest, theft and animal cruelty and neglect. She has handled hundreds of expunctions, juvenile, and justice of the peace cases. With nearly 15 years of experience in criminal law specifically, she knows how to advocate for her clients both in and out of the courtroom to obtain the most suitable disposition for each client.
